The only thing easier than creating a Web page with this program might be viewing a Web page created with Yahoo! PageBuilder. The point-and-click “WYSIWYG” type of editing that PageBuilder has refined translates to easy-to-build and easy-to-view pages. Here are the steps you and your friends should follow to look at your pages.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Computer
  • Yahoo! account

Step1
Connect to the Internet. You cannot use PageBuilder without being online, and unless you have presaved a page, you cannot see any Web site without being online.
Step2
Typing your page’s URL address into your browser’s URL window should take you directly to the page.
Step3
Log into PageBuilder. You must use your Yahoo! ID and password. Click “Launch PageBuilder."
Step4
Click the “Preview” icon from the toolbar at the top of the PageBuilder window. This opens another window in your browser in which your page will appear as it might look to another third-party browser.
Step5
Locate the address of your page. At the top of PageBuilder you will find the root of your address. Adding your page’s name onto it will give you the full address.

Tips & Warnings

  • Test your link before sending it to friends, family or anybody else.
  • Always save your work before exiting PageBuilder. The program does not have an autosave feature, so your progress will be lost.
  • Do not post inappropriate material on Yahoo! while using PageBuilder. Do not post anything you would not want the whole world to see.
