How to Upload an Image With Yahoo PageWizards

Uploading images to your Web page can spice it up and be a visual aid for remembering your Web site. If visitors are reminded of your Web site by a visual aid, they will be more likely to return to your site. The more visitors you have, the higher your page rank becomes.

Instructions

1. Log onto your GeoCities account at Yahoo.com.

2. Launch Yahoo PageWizards.

3. Select the Browse button.

4. You will then see the files located on your computer's hard drive. Find the file that contains the image, select it, and click on "Open."

5. Finally, select "Upload."

Tips & Warnings

• You may want to use a picture that will not take up a large portion of your allotted Web space.

• Because Yahoo PageWizards is a very basic Web page design tool, you will not be able to resize the image once it is placed on your Web page. Instead, PageWizards automatically resizes the image to fit onto your Web page.
