How to Remove a Background Image from a Web Page in Yahoo PageBuilder

Editing your website pages has never been easier, thanks to Yahoo PageBuilder. Its point-and-click navigation offers a "what you see is what you get" format that makes removing a background image from a web page a snap.

Things You'll Need:

• Internet access
• Computer
• Yahoo account

1. Connect to the Internet. When using Yahoo PageBuilder, a high-speed Internet connection is ideal.

2. Log into Yahoo. You can set up an account by visiting the Yahoo website.

3. Launch Yahoo PageBuilder. Visit the GeoCities website (See Resources) and under the heading "Getting Started," click on "Launch PageBuilder." This will open a new window in which PageBuilder will appear.

4. Open your web page. Click on the "Open" icon on the left side of the toolbar and locate the web page to which you've added a background image.

5. Locate the icon for your background image. It will appear as a square box with yellow tiles in the lower left corner of your screen, no matter how far you scroll up or down the page.

6. Select the box by clicking on it, and then press the Delete key. Your background image should then be deleted.
