1
Head to the Thunder Plains and look for the Cactuar Stones. Press a square at any three of them.
-
2
Look for the Cactuar Ghost, then follow it to a ruined tower. It will be set into the wall on the right-hand side.
-
-
3
Pray at the stone.
-
4
Use the Celestial Mirror on the chest, or if you don't have the mirror yet, come back later. This will give you the Spirit Lance.
-
5
Visit Mount Gagazet and fight Seymour at the top. Just after him, there will be several pillars on the path. Look in between them for the chest with the Saturn Crest.
-
6
Return to Macalania Woods after obtaining the Airship and look for the Harp Player. This will initiate the Butterfly Catcher mini-game. The objective is to touch all the blue butterflies before time runs out. You MUST avoid the red butterflies! Touching a red one drops you into a battle and wastes precious seconds. There are two areas in which to do this, and you must do both of them to get the Saturn Sigil. After you finish, a chest will appear at the end of the course if you won. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT THE CHEST! If you do, the game resets and you must repeat the steps.

Hooray, you did it! You've gotten them all!

Tips & Warnings
You may have heard that there is a cheat with the Chocobo race to make the birds pass through you. Yes, but only in the original Japanese release; this cheat does not exist in the U.S. or International version, so don't bother trying.
Remember that you need to BEAT a time of 0:0:0 on the Chocobo race! If you have a Turbo Ether instead of the Sigil, you need another balloon.
Obtaining the Celestial Weapons and powering them with the Crest also allows your Aeons to break their HP, MP and Damage Limits. Yes, it would be easier to simply create weapons with identical properties (Kimahri's in particular), but this will not unlock your Aeon's full potential.
Kimahri's butterfly game is probably the most difficult thing you'll need to complete to earn a Sigil. Generally, the outside of the path is a safe place to travel in between red butterflies, but be wary! Many of them lurk in the shadows. Stick with it--you'll get through eventually.
Practice the butterfly game when you first get to Macalania instead of waiting until after you have the Airship. This will give you an idea of what to expect. Beware--it gets tougher!
