Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Palm Tungsten E2
  • Star-bit screwdriver
  • New tungsten E2 battery
  • Prying tool
  • Glue
  1. Step 1

Place the Tungsten E2 on a flat surface, with the display facing down.

Remove the screws from the back of the case using a star-bit screwdriver.

  3. Step 3

Loosen the 2 halves of the case with the edge of a standard screwdriver.

  4. Step 4

Separate the case halves. Find the battery and carefully note how it lies in the case.

  5. Step 5

Connect the power supply lead to the battery.

Seal the 2 halves of the case, then replace and tighten the screws.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you have a well-lighted workspace. Working with tiny components in dim lighting conditions puts unneccessary strain on the eyes.
  • Consider getting a qualified service technician to replace your E2's battery if you are not comfortable working with electronic devices.
  • Do not open the case of your E2 while the power is on.
