1. Visit the Craigslist Web site.
2. The first thing you see is the Craigslist home page.
3. Look to the far right side of the screen and you will notice multiple states and countries. They are arranged in alphabetical order. Select the area closet to home.
4. Choose a city and click on it.
5. Find a category of interest and enter it in the search box. If you want to physically meet someone for a friendship or more, head over to the "Personals" or "Community Section."
6. Search keywords like "M4W" which means man for woman, or "W4M," which means woman for man and click enter. You will then see hundreds of listings in the order they were posted. Start reading and email the ones that interest you.
