How to Recharge the Battery on a Palm Tungsten E2

The Palm Tungsten E2 is a good mid-range PDA that comes with a high-capacity lithium ion battery. This device keeps a good charge, as long as five days with moderate use. But it will discharge eventually, as they all do, and the user must recharge the batteryproperly. Follow these steps to learn how to recharge the battery on a Palm Tungsten E2.

  • Palm Tungsten E2

  1. Step 1

    Check the battery icon regularly to see if the battery requires recharging. The Palm Tungsten E2 has battery icon on the top of the Home screen. This is the battery life indicator.

  2. Step 2

    Plug the cable into an electrical outlet. The Palm Tungsten E2 comes with a power cable. Connect the other end of the cable to the power connector on the underside of the Palm, next to the USB port. The PDA will begin charging.

  3. Step 3

    Check the battery indicator occasionally to keep track of the recharging progress.

  4. Step 4

    Remove the power cable. When the battery indicator is full, recharging is complete. Disconnect it from the Palm Tungsten E2.

Tips & Warnings
  • Ideally, the Palm Tungsten E2 should be charged using the power cable whenever it is not being used.
  • A good time to recharge your Palm Tungsten E2 is at night when you are asleep.
  • The Palm Tungsten E2 will charge up while attached to a computer using the mini-USB connector, but charging this way is much slower than using the power cable.
