Go to Lexmark’s Web site (see link below). Next, click “Drivers and Downloads.” Now, click “Driver Finder.”
-
Step 3
Click your printer type. Find your model number under one of the subcategories. You’ll probably find it under Color Laser, but check the Multifunction area if you can’t find it there.
-
Step 4
Click on your model number. Make sure you match it exactly.
-
Step 5
Select your platform. If you are not sure which version of your OS you have, open your Control Panel and double-click “System.”

Step 6
Select your driver. There will be quite a few options to download. Look for a “Full Driver” package with installer. Next, click “Download Now.”
-
Step 7
Select “Save as…” or “Save to Disk…” Choose a location to save the file that will be easy for you to find. The desktop is a good place.
-
Step 8
Uninstall old drivers. Open Printers and Faxes from your Control Panel and right-click your printer. Click “Delete.”
-
Step 9
Install new drivers. Double-click the executable file that you downloaded.
