Las Vegas certainly is a great place to visit. The action and nightlife is nonstop, and the allure of a big win at the casinos is a huge draw. Yahoo! Travel is a great place to book your vacation to Las Vegas.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Log onto Yahoo! Travel (see link below).

  2. Step 2

Enter “Las Vegas” in the "Search Travel" section near the top of the home page. Then, click on the “Search Travel” button to the right of the search box.

  3. Step 3

Scroll down to the "Travel Guides" section and click on the “Las Vegas, NV” link.

  4. Step 4

You will be presented with several options for planning your trip. You can start by entering your check-in and check-out dates. This area also has information for planning your flight, should you need one.

  5. Step 5

In that same section, you can choose “See All Las Vegas Hotels” to view all hotels in Las Vegas listed on Yahoo! Travel.

Decide on a hotel. Once you have browsed the hotels and made your decision, follow the link to that hotel and follow the instructions on that particular Web site for making reservations.

  7. Step 7

Read recommendations and testimonials on the "Trip Plans & Reviews" section located on this page.

Tips & Warnings
  • If weather is a factor in the timing of your trip, the "Seasonal Forecast" section may be helpful.
  • If you are not sure what area to stay in or what activities are available, check out the "City Introduction" section located adjacent to the "Seasonal Forecast" section.
  • If you scroll down a little on the page, there is a section titled "Recommended Places in Las Vegas" that you may find helpful.
  • If you are interested in a package, scroll down the page about midway and you will find a listing of current offerings.
  • Purchasing vacation insurance may be a good idea if you are traveling with children or the elderly.
  • Don't let Las Vegas's reputation as “Sin City” deter you from visiting. There are a lot of quality entertainment offerings appropriate for the whole family.
