Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- HP inkjet printer
- Internet access

Step 1
Access the Internet. You will need to download the driver from the company’s Web site.

Go to the HP Web site (see link below). HP gives access to all of its drivers on the company Web site.

Click on the “Software and Driver Downloads” link. From here, you will be able to search through the various products HP makes and find your inkjet printer.

Type your printer’s model name into the search box. Now click the small arrow next to the search box.

You will get a list of results. Click on the appropriate one.

Select your operating system from the list. You need to know what kind of operating system you have and what version it is.

Scroll down the page until you see the “Driver” section. This should be about halfway down the page.

Click “Download” directly to the right of the proper driver. This will begin the downloading process.
