    Double check the power supply. Cords can get loose and cause the printer to stop working.

  2. Step 2

    Make sure the printer is turned on. Turn the printer off and then on again.

  3. Step 3

    Confirm that there is paper loaded in the printer.

  4. Step 4

    Examine the ink cartdges. Your printer could be out of ink.

  5. Step 5

    Make sure you are selecting the correct printer from your print dialog box. Make sure that your printer is hooked up to your computer.

  6. Step 6

    Consult your owner’s manual.
