How to Print Photos from a Digital Camera Using an Inkjet Printer

Instructions

1. Transfer your pictures from your camera to your computer. If your computer contains the camera driver, just plug in your camera to start copying pictures to your computer.

2. Understand all of the software that is compatible with your printer.

3. Inspect your printer to make sure everything is working properly. Check the ink cartridge to make sure that you have enough ink.

4. Select the right paper for your pictures. There are four different types of photo paper: high-resolution inkjet, glossy, plain inkjet and photo quality (non-glossy). Using glossy paper will give you the best results.

5. Adjust settings such as layout, size, quality and number of copies before printing each time.

6. Print out the pictures that you want.

7. Allow your pictures time to dry to ensure the best results.

• Most inkjet printers will allow you to print a 4x6, 5x7 or 8x10-inch pictures.

• Use pigment ink instead of dye ink to make your photos last longer.
