Want to discuss issues with others in your community? It can be challenging to find a forum, but it becomes very easy if you know where to look. Use Craigslist to meet people who share your concerns or to hear the other side of issues. Follow the steps below to find your local community forum on Craigslist:

  • Internet access
  • Computer
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Craigslist Web site.

  2. Step 2

    Select your state from the locations section on the right.

  3. Step 3

    Choose your city or area from the list provided and then click on “Discussion Forums.”

  4. Step 4

    Select a forum of interest from those listed. You can also look for a specific topic by entering keywords in the box at the top of the page and clicking “Search.”

  5. Step 5

    Scroll down to find a topic that intrigues you. Click on any interesting topics. To reply, click on “Reply to this Post.”

  6. Step 6

    Click on the "Create New Thread” box to post your own listing. Registration and log-in are required to post.
