How to Enable Comments for Older Posts on Blogger

Comments are messages posted by readers of your blog positively or negatively remarking on your blog content. Follow the steps below to allow visitors to post comments about older posts on Blogger.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Computer
  • Blogger account
  1. Step 1

    Go to the Blogger homepage.

  2. Step 2

    Log in to your account.

  3. Step 3

    Click on "Posts" next to "Manage."

  4. Step 4

    Click on "Edit" to select the older post that you wish to allow comments on.

  5. Step 5

    Click on "Post Options" under the text of the post.

  6. Step 6

    Select "Allow" under "Reader Comments."

  7. Step 7

    Click "Publish."

Tips & Warnings
  • Selecting "Hide" does not delete existing comments. You can reveal the comments again at any time by switching back to "Show."
  • On the "Settings" tab under "Comments," you will see the option "Who Can Comment?" It's best not to choose "Anyone."
