By now, you must have heard of blogs and their ability to spread information. Through a blog you can talk about a myriad of different subject matters. You can discuss your love of flowers or your motorcycle fetish. You can even publish family update information. Typepad offers an affordable blogging solution for the masses. Follow these steps to post your first blog on Typepad in just a matter of minutes!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Start up your favorite web browser.

  2. Step 2

    Type in www.typepad.com.

  3. Step 3

    Click on "Members-Sign In."

  4. Step 4

    On your control panel click the "Post" tab.

  5. Step 5

    Enter the title of your first post.

  6. Step 6

    Select a posting category.

  7. Step 7

    Fill in the body of your post.

  8. Step 8

    Select the "Posting Status" dropdown menu. then select "Publish Now."

  9. Step 9

    Click "Save."

  10. Step 10

    Type in the web address of your blog and view your first post.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try using a word processor editor to write your text then spell check it prior to posting.
  • After your first post you may want to switch to one of several other options that TypePad has for uploading posts to the web: QuickPost, Mobile Posting, or Desktop Client posting.
  • Remember that when you set your post to "Publish Now" and click "Save" the whole world has access to it.
