Pocket Tunes allows you to create and manage play lists, groups of songs you can play together. Follow these steps to find out how.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate
Step1
Tap "Play List" to bring up the "Select a Playlist" screen. You can also double-click "Select" on the 5-way navigator to bring up the play list.
Step2
Tap "New" to create a new playlist, "Edit" to edit an existing playlist, "Select" to start playing it, or "Cancel" to stop playing it. You can also tap "Delete" to delete the playlist, or "Move" to move the playlist between the memory card and the expansion card.

Tips & Warnings

  • By default, new playlists are saved on an expansion card, if possible.
  • If you select music from more than one expansion card, or if you select music stored in internal memory, then the playlist will be stored in internal memory.
  • When playlists are stored on an expansion card, they are stored in the standard M3U format in the "/PALM/Programs/PocketTunes" folder.
  • You can copy M3U playlists anywhere on an expansion card, but you should store them in "/PALM/Programs/PocketTunes" or in the same folder as the music it catalogues.
  • If the path names in the M3U file are incorrect, Pocket Tunes makes an effort to search for the music inthe playlist. It may not be able to find the music unless the M3U file is in the same directory as the song files.
