How to Book a Hotel and Flight Together on Yahoo Travel

Ready to book a vacation? Did you know that you can save time and money if you book your hotel and flight with your travel partner(s)? Follow these steps to do that with Yahoo Travel.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to Yahoo and set up an or log into your account. Click on "Travel" in the left-hand sidebar.

  2. Step 2

    Select "Flight" and "Hotel" next to “Quick Search.” Enter your travel cities, departure and return dates, number of travelers and the number of connections you're willing to make. Then click "Search."

  3. Step 3

    Select the combination of flight and hotel that best fits your budget.

  4. Step 4

    Choose any additional items you want to add to your trip--even tickets, theme park or zoo passes. Click "Continue."

  5. Step 5

    Add insurance if desired. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Continue."

  6. Step 6

    Enter all of the passenger information and click "Continue." On the next screen, review information, enter the contact information for your hotel reservations. Who should be contacted about trip details? Click "Continue."

  7. Step 7

    Select seats for all passengers for all flight segments.

  8. Step 8

    Enter payment information, agree to the terms and conditions and select "Complete Reservations."

Tips & Warnings
  • Though you'll have the opportunity after selecting your flights, hotel and extras to log into your Yahoo account, it's best to make sure you're logged in before starting the process.
  • The Yahoo Travel system uses Travelocity for booking. If you already have a Travelocity account, you may want to use it.
  • Prices shown are per person--not the grand total.
  • Hotel room prices are for two adults only. Additional fees for kids or other people in the room are not included and due at the hotel.
  • Insurance is added to your trip unless you select the option to not have it.
