Tired of paying high gasoline prices or funding terrorists? Why not give up that gas guzzler and start making your own fuel in your garage? Hop onto the bandwagon of an inexpensive fuel source (Waste vegetable oil) that you can collect from your local Chinese restaurant. You'll be doing your wallet a favor and the environment at the same time.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Methanol - Racing fuel - an Alcohol obtained from race tracks (don't confuse this with ethanol)
  • Waste Vegetable oil source
  • LYE - I prefer POTASH or Potassium Hydroxide in 90% concentration
