How to Use a stylus to drag and drop on a Smartphone

Using a stylus to manage information on a Smartphone is vital to maintaining the goal of time efficiency. Using a stylus will keep you moving quickly and on the go.

1. To drag and drop an item with your stylus, first locate the item on the page your would like to manipulate.
2. Holding the stylus like a pencil, press and hold on top of the item on the screen.
3. While continuing to press and hold, move the stylus to the item's desired destination.
4. When the item is where you want it, lift the stylus off of the page.

Tips & Warnings

• Move the item slowly. If you move it quickly, the Smartphone may not be able to track the stylus' movements and return the item to its original position.
• If you pick up the stylus in the middle of dragging it to the new location, it will automatically return to its original location on the screen.
