If you are traveling for business or pleasure, being able to synchronize with your laptop is a powerful tool. Here's how to do it.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
On your Smartphone, go to the Applications section and select HotSync.
Step2
Choose Local.
Step3
You should now see a list underneath the HotSync icon. Select the PC you have designated for Bluetooth Synchronization.
Step4
Select the HotSync button.

Tips & Warnings

  • Even if you synch with Outlook or another third party operation, it is necessary to install the software from the Palm Software Installation CD that accompanied your Smartphone.
  • If your synchronization has been successful, you will receive this information at the top of your screen.
  • Do not panic if your synchronization does not go through immediately. It will take a few minutes to complete your synchronization once you have pushed the HotSync icon.
