Land close to the capital of Belgium and then take the train to Ardennes. The closest international airport to the Ardennes region is the Brussels International Airport.

Select from a wide variety of modern transportation to get from the airport to your hotel. There is an amazing system of public transportation in Belgium that can quickly get you to your destination.

Find an outlet for your desire to shop. If you are interested in shopping, then you will want to find accommodations located near one of the main shopping areas in the Ardennes region. For example, you may want to be close to the Val Saint-Lambert Crystal Factory. Lay down your arms! If you are a military history buff, then you will want to book accommodations near one of the many military-themed museums in the Ardennes region. Some of the most notable museums include Musee Decembre 1944, Museum of Walloon Life and the Arms Museum.

Tour a brewery. If you like to drink or brew, then you will want to find accommodations near the small Brasserie La Caracole. Here you will be able to tour the brewery and sample their products.

Plan to stay for a while. If you will be staying for more than a couple of weeks in this area, you may want to consider renting a Belgium apartment. Many apartments are available in the Ardennes area for short-term leases.
