How to Find a Study Partner on Craigslist
Learning can be easier when you have a study partner. The hard part is trying to find the right study partner for you. Gone are the days of hanging signs on dorm room bulletin boards or paying for an ad in the local newspaper. Now all you have to do is log on to Craigslist and start studying.

Log onto the Craigslist Web site (see address below).

Pick the location in which you want to find a study partner. Along the right-hand side of the page there is a list of cities, states and countries. Simply click on the area where you hope to find a study partner.

Begin your search by clicking on "Groups," located under the "Community" heading.

Scan the posts from the previous few days. Scroll through the postings to see if anyone else is looking for a study partner.

If you don't find what you are looking for, then do a search. Type key words in the "Search For" box. Then click "Search."

Once you find a posting that has potential for matching your needs, click on the blue title to find out more information. This will take you to a separate page where the person posting the message will give you details about what they are looking for.

If this post seems like a match, send them an email. Typically, there will be a specialized Craigslist email at the top of the post's description. In your email, introduce yourself and tell the person what you hope to get out of a study partner.

Start your own group if you do not find anything that interests you after doing a search. Simply go back to the main Craigslist page and click on "Post to Classifieds." Then click on "Community" and then either "Groups" or "Activity Partners." Type in what you are looking for, click "Post" and wait for someone to email you.

You can search all of Craigslist by using the search feature found on the main page. This will deliver results from around the world, so be sure to use specific search terms.
If you decide to meet someone to study, be sure your first meeting is in a public place, like a coffee shop or library.
