5. Plan ahead to get the best rates. Accommodations are at their highest rates during the peak tourist season, November to February, but cheap accomodations are easy to come by during the off season.
6. You can easily find cheap hotel accommodations for under $100 a night. You may have to sacrifice some amenities. But if you're planning on spending your days at the beach anyway, a basic room will be all you need.
7. Call hotels and resorts you're interested in visiting. Dealing with the company directly can sometimes be cheaper than Internet rates.
8. Book your accommodations early if you're traveling at peak times of the year. Though Cabo attracted very few tourists until the international airport was built in the 1980s, it has since become one of North America's prime vacation destinations.
