Prepare for Your Trip

1. Know that while small enough to hike around in a couple of days, the 12 towns in Bornholm are scattered among beaches, farmlands, forests and cliffs.

2. Plan to visit in the summer, from May to August, for the best temperatures, but also the largest crowds.

3. Change your money to Danish Krones. If you are not traveling from within Denmark, stop at the bank or the Bornholm Visitor Center in Ronne to change your money.
