Get to Know Billund

1. Keep your eye on Billund as it joins with its northern neighbor, Grindsted, due to municipality reform in Denmark. The new town will most likely be called Billund-Grindsted municipality.

2. Visit Billund in winter if you want to explore the many outdoor activities without the theme park crowds. Weather in Northern Denmark is mild throughout the year, with winter bringing snow.

Find Your Way to Billund

1. Book a flight to Billund Airport from Copenhagen. Originally built by Lego in the 1960s, the airport is now independently owned and is Denmark's second busiest airport.

2. Reach the city by car via the E45 motorway.
