Winnipeg is the geographical center of Canada and capital of the Manitoba province. With many cultural areas of interest, Winnipeg draws visitors from around the world.

  1. Step 1

    Get acquainted with Winnipeg. It is located far from other large cities in Canada.

  2. Step 2

    Be prepared for a little snow in winter. "Winterpeg," as it's affectionately called, has long snow-filled winters.

    Go where the action is. Winnipeg has a population of almost 620,000 people.

  4. Step 4

    Discover Winnipeg's cultural side. It is the home of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and major aboriginal cultural centers.
