Previewing a Web page before publishing is very important. You will have the opportunity to see your page as visitors will see it, correct any spelling and ensure all your codes are giving you what you expected on the page.

Things You'll Need:

• Internet access
• GeoCities account
• Web page

1. Log on to your GeoCities account at Yahoo.com.

2. Edit and add on to your page until you are satisfied.

3. Look in the toolbar for the Preview button. Click on Preview and you will be able to see your Web page as it will appear on your Web site.

Tips & Warnings

• You do not have to save your work in order to preview it.
• If you prefer, rather than using the preview button on the toolbar, you can go into the File menu and press the Page Preview button.
• It is wise to check your Web page often. Otherwise, one mistake could lead to another, causing you to retrace steps and waste time.
