You're good to go-you have a server set up, you've written scripts for your podcasts and you've done your recording. There's only one step left: filling out the MP3 ID3 tags for your podcast. Follow these simple steps to finish your podcast.

  • Audio recording software
  • Podcast
  1. Step 1

    Record your podcast and export the file as an MP3.

  2. Step 2

    Enter the name for your file.

  3. Step 3

    Enter your name in the artist category.

  4. Step 4

    Enter the genre of the recording-in this case, podcast.

  5. Step 5

    Enter comments about your podcast in the comments section; you can use this category to add show notes.

Tips & Warnings
  • By filling out the MP3 ID3 tags, your subscribers will be able to find the podcast on their computer or MP3 player.
  • Most MP3 players only show 16 characters in the title field. Keep this in mind when you enter titles for your podcasts.
