How to Edit a Page You Created With Yahoo! PageBuilder

Creating a page with Yahoo! PageBuilder is a great way to add interest and personality to your Web site. It is always a good idea to update your site on a frequent basis. Follow these simple steps to use Yahoo! PageBuilder to edit your Web site.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Web browser
  • GeoCities account
  • Web page
  1. Step 1

    Log on to your GeoCities account at Yahoo.com.

  2. Step 2

    Click on the PageBuilder link on the Create & Update tab located on the control panel.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the Launch PageBuilder link.

  4. Step 4

    Go to Open to see your files.

  5. Step 5

    Open the file (Web page) you would like to edit.

  6. Step 6

    Edit your Web page using any of PageBuilder's tools.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also edit pages in PageBuilder using your own software if you have purchased GeoCities Plus or Pro. Or, you can go to the File Manager.
  • If you would like to edit your Web page with a different tool than the one you used to create it, you must use a more advanced tool. If you do not, you may damage your page.
  • Do not use a less advanced tool to edit your Web page created in PageBuilder.
