How to Create a New Web Page With Yahoo! PageBuilder

Creating a new Web page can help draw visitors to your Web site. If you increase visitors, your page rank will increase and your potential for making money increases. Using Yahoo! PageBuilder to create a new page is a fairly straightforward process—simply follow these steps.

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet access
  • Web browser
  • GeoCities account
  1. Step 1

    Log on to your GeoCities account at Yahoo.com.

  2. Step 2

    Find the Create & Update section on the control panel.

  3. Step 3

    Click on PageBuilder within the Create & Update section and then Launch PageBuilder.

  4. Step 4

    Click the New button on the toolbar.

  5. Step 5

    Add whatever you wish to the blank page on your screen.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add images, photos, text and add-ons to your page.
  • If you would prefer, you can go to the Index tab and choose the PageBuilder link that is under Create & Update for step 3.
  • When you create file names, do not include any symbols, spaces or unusual characters.
  • File names should include only letters, numbers, dashes, periods and underscores.
  • Your file name cannot start with a period.
