Snapfish is a popular online service that allows members to upload their photos and share them with friends and family. Part of that popularity is due to the service’s user-friendly uploading procedures. Here’s how to use Snapfish to upload your photos.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Computer
  • Digital camera
Step1
Set up an account with Snapfish. There are easy online prompts at the Web site, listed below in Resources.
Step2
Click the Get Started button. You will be asked for names, an e-mail address and to set and confirm your password. Click on Go Fish.
Step3
Install Snapfish Quick Upload. This is pretty basic stuff. Just follow the helpful pop-up screens.
Step4
Punch the yellow Select Photos & Videos button once Quick Upload has installed. This lets you look around inside your computer for pictures.
Step5
Select the stuff you want to upload. Your computer files will be displayed with a little box next to each file. Click on the box to select that file for upload. You can also select all files at once if you want.
Step6
Hit the Upload Photos button once you have made your selections.
Step7
Wait for them to finish uploading and then preview your photos.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can upload JPEG or BMP images or ZIP files containing only JPEG images to Snapfish.
  • You can download Snapfish PhotoShow software for your desktop if that strikes your fancy.
  • If you have old-fashioned film, send it in to Snapfish and they will upload it to your account.
  • Snapfish offers free, unlimited online storage for active members. Active membership is defined as sending in film for developing or ordering merchandise at least once per year.
  • Snapfish has a help section that addresses uploading issues with different operating systems.

on 12/12/2007 Could you please tell me how to download multiple photos in a Snapfish account than select individually one at a time which is frustratingly slow?
