How to Add a Background Image in Yahoo PageBuilder

Adding a background image to your webpage using PageBuilder gives your website a unique look and creates visual interest.

Instructions

1. Log onto Yahoo PageBuilder.

2. Find the toolbar and click on “Add-ons.”

3. You will see a window with the words “Add cool stuff to your page!” Click on this window.

4. You will now see several categories on the left frame. Choose the “Basics” category.
   
   

5. Look in the right frame for the specific addition you are looking for. Once you click on the addition, you will have added it to your page.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are not happy with a background, it can be changed or deleted.
• You may want to try different backgrounds to see which one you like the best.
• There may be instances in which a background needs to be configured. If this is the case, a dialog box will open and walk you through the process.
• Do not be afraid to put a background on your page that fits your personality and webpage. The background does not necessarily need to be the most popular in order to coordinate well with your page.
