How to Add an Image to a Web Page Using Yahoo PageBuilder

Adding an image to your website will set it apart from competitors. Images can give a visitor an immediate sense of the content and also a visual reminder of your website.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log onto your GeoCities account.

  2. Step 2

    Upload your image to the file manager in your account.

  3. Step 3

    You will then use the image tag generator to choose an image tag. Once you have chosen your image tag, copy and paste it to the html page where you want your image.

    If you are planning on linking to a picture on the Web, your image tag should look something like .

    Click the preview button to see your image on your webpage.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you wish to locate an image on the Internet, right click on the image and determine its properties.
  • All of your images should be either gif or jpeg files.
  • You do not want your image to take up a large amount of space on your website. Choose images that are small in size.
  • You cannot convert file extensions, so your must create original jpeg or gif files using an image software.
