How to Add an Email Link Using Yahoo PageBuilder

Adding an email link to a webpage is a vital means of communication between you and your visitors.

Instructions

1. Log onto your GeoCities' account.

2. Log into the control panel.

3. Click on the “Insert” button on your main menu bar.

4. Click on “Basics,” then choose to add buttons.

5. At this point, a pop up window should appear on the screen. Under the “Picture List,” double click on “Buttons.”

6. Double click on the word “Template.”

7. Choose which type of button you want to put on your site from the “Picture List.”

8. Choose “Optional Picture Properties.”

9. Under “Link to a Location” select “Email.”

10. Click “OK.”

11. The link button should now appear on your page.

Tips & Warnings

• Using the same system, you can also add a URL.
• You can use “My Page,” “My File” or “Other” for your users to download links to other websites.
• Be prepared for an influx of email if you have a large quantity of visitors.
• On the other hand, do not be disappointed if you do not receive email immediately. It may take a while for visitors to begin emailing you.
