How to Add an Email Link Using Yahoo PageBuilder

Adding an email link to a webpage is a vital means of communication between you and your visitors.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log onto your GeoCities' account.

  2. Step 2

    Log into the control panel.

  3. Step 3

    Click on the “Insert” button on your main menu bar.

  4. Step 4

    Click on “Basics,” then choose to add buttons.

  5. Step 5

    At this point, a pop up window should appear on the screen. Under the “Picture List,” double click on “Buttons.”

  6. Step 6

    Double click on the word “Template.”

  7. Step 7

    Choose which type of button you want to put on your site from the “Picture List.”

  8. Step 8

    Choose “Optional Picture Properties.”

  9. Step 9

    Under “Link to a Location” select “Email.”

  10. Step 10

    Click “OK.”

  11. Step 11

    The link button should now appear on your page.

Tips & Warnings
  • Using the same system, you can also add a URL.
  • You can use “My Page,” “My File” or “Other” for your users to download links to other websites.
  • Be prepared for an influx of email if you have a large quantity of visitors.
  • On the other hand, do not be disappointed if you do not receive email immediately. It may take a while for visitors to begin emailing you.
