How to Add a Podcast to Podcast.net

Podcast.net allows virtually any audible recording to be turned into a podcast. Uploading your recording to Podcast.net is easy.

Instructions

1. Create an mp3 and save it to your website. Make sure to note exactly where you have saved this mp3.

2. Log-on to Podcast.net in your favorite browser (URL below).
   
   

3. Click on Add Your Podcast. This will bring up the data page for you to enter the location of your mp3.

4. Fill in the requested information.

5. Be sure to fill in the URL of your originating link exactly as you recorded it in Step 1 from your website.

6. Fill in the categories of your podcast and the keywords so that visitors to the site can easily find your podcast.
   
   

7. Click on the Submit button and your site will be added to the directory almost immediately.
   
   

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure that you fill in all relevant keywords so that users can find your podcasts quickly.
• While adult language is permissible, limiting the amount of language and explicit information will allow you to reach a broader audience.
• Make sure that you correctly denote what your website contains.
• Be sure that your podcast is original and any copied material is not copyright protected.
