How to Obtain your Paladin’s Charger in World of Warcraft: Eastern Plaguelands, Dire Maul and Stratholme

We continue the series on obtaining your Paladin’s Epic Mount, the Charger, by picking up with High Priest Rohan in Ironforge.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

1. Talk to Greyson Shadowbreaker after you have the Censer.
2. Head to Terrordale in the Eastern Plaguelands, making sure to bring the Censer.
3. Look for the Terrorweb Tunnel exit. You should see several green rings around the ruins.
4. Use the Censer near these green rings. Several spirits will spawn (one to three spirits).
5. Continue defeating spirits until you have defeated 25 of them. This shouldn’t take more than a half hour or so. Be careful using Consecration, as there are other monsters walking around who can cause trouble if you agitate them.
6. Head down to Light’s Hope Chapel before you leave the Eastern Plaguelands. Talk to the Argent Dawn Supply Officer and obtain 20 Enriched Manna Biscuits. The price will depend on your status with the Argent Dawn, but it should be no more than 1 gold.
7. Report back to Lord Greyson Shadowbreaker.
8. Travel to Southshore with 50 gold and your Enriched Manna Biscuits and talk to Meredith Carlson in the stables. She will give you Manna Enriched Horse Feed.
9. Get a five-person group together and head to Dire Maul West, in Feralas. Make sure at least one of you has the Crescent Key (obtained in Dire Maul East) and that you brought your barding and the Manna Enriched Horse Feed.
10. Run past all the mobs (or fight your way through if you wish) to Tendris Warpwood.
11. Defeat Tendris and wait for the Ancient Equine Spirit to appear.
12. Catch and click on the Ancient Equine Spirit to talk to it and get your barding blessed.
13. Leave Dire Maul and head back to Lord Greyson. He will ask you to find a Pristine Black Diamond and an Azerothian Diamond in order to make a Divination Scryer.
14. Head back to Stratholme and look for your Pristine Black Diamond. Or, if you have extra gold, simply buy one.
15. Continue mining Rich Thorium Veins for an Azerothian Diamond, or just buy one. They are much cheaper and by far more common than Pristine Black Diamonds.
16. Head back to Lord Greyson when you have your diamonds and he will give you the Divination Scryer.
