Tips & Warnings
  • If you have little or no knowledge of how to modify a website, you may want to search eHow to learn how to modify an .HTM, .HTML, or .PHP page.
  • To gain an understanding of how to move files from your local computer up to the Internet, just perform an eHow search on FTP utilization. eHow will clearly show you how to properly transfer files from your server to your computer and then back to the server after modification.
  • This can never be said too often: make a back-up copy of what you are working on prior to making modifications to the site.
