Step3
Go camping on the Saco River. While only six primitive sites are available, there are over 100 cheap non-primitive sites that feature free wi-fi and cable TV hookups. The beachside camping facility is a favorite among locals and annual visitors.
Step4

Park, then shop. The heart of historic North Conway Village is only a few square blocks, so once you're in one of the five public parking areas, you can hit most of the shops on foot.
Step2
Take in the views on the Conway Scenic Railroad's Valley Train. It's an 11-mile excursion in and out of the village that takes less than an hour and passes beautiful farmlands and rivers.
Explore the City
Step1
Shop the quaint specialty shops in the north. This is the scenic and historic part of the village, which has been renovated with new sidewalks, street paving, lighting and benches.
Step2
Shop south. The outlet malls are just a few miles south on the main strip and offer many more chain shops.
Step3
Come to North Conway in the last week of August and enjoy the annual Bach Festival. If you'd prefer to avoid the crowds, simply attend the Manchester Chamber Players Evening Concert Series events that are held year-round.
