What could be easier than taking your digital camera's memory card down to the photo development booth to get prints of your pictures? The answer is Shutterfly, which eliminates both steps. You don’t have to remove the memory card from your camera, and you never leave the house--you do it all from your computer. Here is how to get prints of your photos from Shutterfly.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Shutterfly account
  • Credit card
  • Computer

Step1
Set up a free account with Shutterfly. Click on member sign-in and then "Join Now."
Step2
Select the tab at the top of the screen that says "Add Prints." Follow the on-screen instructions for uploading your photos from your computer.
Step3
Your pictures will appear at the bottom of the screen. Select the ones you wish to order by checking the box below each picture.
Step4
Select the size for each photo you wish to order at the bottom of the screen, then click “Next” in the upper right-hand corner.
Step5
Check the box with your mailing address. If you want the prints sent to another recipient, click on “Add New Address.”
Step6
Click “Next.” Your order will appear with a list of charges for your prints. Review your order.
Step7
Click “Go to Checkout” at the bottom of the page. Enter your credit card information and click “Place My Order Now.”

Tips & Warnings

  • Allow for shipping time. If you need your prints today, you’re better off taking them to a one-hour photo place.
  • Even with the free prints you get when you sign up, you'll still have to pay for shipping.
