How to Create a Music Show Podcast

A music show podcast is a podcast that you can publish daily, weekly or monthly, based on your favorite genre or artist(s). It can cover everything from music to video to news.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open the voice recorder program or a similar software program you may have downloaded from your podcast Web site. You also will need a microphone.

  2. Step 2

    Click record and record your session.

  3. Step 3

    After you have finished recording your session, save the audio file to your media device (Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, iTunes, etc).

  4. Step 4

    From there, download it into your iPod or MP3 player.

  5. Step 5

    If you want to share it, go to your podcast Web site.

  6. Step 6

    Log in, go to your profile and upload your file.

  7. Step 7

    When your file is completed, save and submit it. From there you will be able to link it to other Web sites.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure your audio tour is accurate, pointed and of good quality. Side notes are good to include if they have relevance.
  • Test your file and the links to ensure that they are working properly.
  • Read all the user and license agreements when uploading anything to a site.
  • When uploading your podcast to your Web site, be sure to upload it in binary format. In any other format, you will risk corrupting your file.
