How to Post a Podcast on a Blogger Blog

Some people would rather tell their stories aloud than write them down. Sharing what they know by speaking with others feels more interactive and satisfying. If you are one of these people, adding a podcast to your blog may be for you. To add a podcast that allows you to record and incorporate audio and video into your Blogger blog, follow these steps.

Instructions

1. Create or log into the Blogger blog in which you plan to post your podcast.

2. Click the "Settings" tab, and select "Formatting" from the submenu. Scroll down to the "Show Link Field" option and change the setting to "Yes." Save the formatting change.

3. Click the "Posting" tab to start a new post.

4. Enter the complete URL of your podcast into the link box.

5. Publish the blog post. Once the entry is posted, check to make sure that clicking on the title takes you to the mp3 podcast file.

6. Burn the podcast at Feedburner and enable Smartcast to make your podcast more widely available.

• Using Feedburner, you can syndicate your podcasts to make them available to a wider audience.

• When you post your podcast to Blogger, make sure you verify that the link works.
