Apple's iTunes makes listening to podcasts easy. It can also help you find just what you're looking for.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open iTunes on your computer.

  2. Step 2

Select the "Podcasts" icon in the source column.

  3. Step 3

Click on the arrow next to “Podcast Directory” at the bottom of the iTunes window.

  4. Step 4

Use the iTunes search box at the top right OR the podcast search window in the left column OR the "Power Search" link from the Quick Links box on the right.

  5. Step 5

Search for the podcast by title, author or subject.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you use the main iTunes search box at the top right, add the word "podcast" to your search.
  • If you use "Power Search" from the Quick Links box, make sure "podcasts" is highlighted in the top menu, then search by title, author, description, category or language.
  • If you know the URL of a podcast and don't want to spend the time searching for it in the iTunes database, you can subscribe to it by choosing Advanced Menu > Subscribe to Podcast and entering the podcast feed URL.
  • This applies to iTunes version 6.0 and later. If you are using an older version of iTunes, download a newer version at the Apple website.
