A kid that won't clean his/her room, but is willing to learn
Patience
Step1
Make sure that your kid wants to clean the room even if he/she wont.
Step2
Tell your kid what to pick up and where to put it. if you don't they wont know what to do in the process of picking up their room.
Step3
Have hem get a go at picking things up and putting them away. let them do it on their own.
Step4
Tell them to do their best and walk out of the room for 10 minutes or let them come to you when they think they're done.
Step5

Tips & Warnings
If your kid is not willing to clean their room, wait a few days and come back to see if they will.
The younger you teach them, the better.
Knowing the right techniques can help
Having them clean every commercial break, then have them watch the show when it comes back on can also help
Reward them after they've cleaned their room
discipline them if they won't clean their room
Have fun with it, don't push them too hard or they'll never learn.
make sure they want to learn. If they don't want to learn, they won't learn.
Make the reward be something to work for, if it's not, they won't be interested in doing the job to get the reward, they'll say "it's not worth it." or "why should i?"
