How to Add a Page Title to a Web Page Using Yahoo! PageBuilder

Adding a page title to your Web page adds pizzazz and originality. A page title also indicates what the Web page is about when a visitor enters your site.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet connection
  • Yahoo! account
  1. Step 1

    Log onto Yahoo! PageBuilder.

  2. Step 2

    Go to GeoCities main page (see below).

  3. Step 3

    Click on “List a New Page.”

  4. Step 4

    Enter two terms in the search boxes that describe the web page you are listing.

  5. Step 5

    Press the “Search” button and then select the term that is most applicable to your web page.

  6. Step 6

    Click on the “List My Page” button.

  7. Step 7

    Select the Web page you wish to show.

  8. Step 8

    Input the title of your page and describe your page.

  9. Step 9

    Click on the “List Page” button.

  10. Step 10

    Return to “Member Pages.”

Tips & Warnings
  • Be patient! It will take up to 24 hours for your title to appear in the directory.
  • Be sure to keep the description of your web page current.
