How to Write Articles for Business Blogs

Business blogs and personal blogs generally exist for one reason: generating income. Keeping this concept in mind, it is not difficult to write for a business blog. Just be sure to follow these steps and you will be on your way to making money, too.

  1. Step 1

    Visit the business blog to determine its content.

  2. Step 2

    Determine the style of writing present in the business blog and write your article accordingly.

  3. Step 3

    Determine the keywords and phrases that are required. You will also need to know the keyword percentage requirements.

  4. Step 4

    Determine if you need to mention the name of the Web site or specific products in the article.

  5. Step 5

    Write the article and proofread it for grammar and keyword or phrase density.

Tips & Warnings
  • Choose business blogs that interest you. If you are not interested in the business blog, you may not be able to stay motivated to complete your task.
  • Be sure to work out details of payment before committing to writing an article for a business blog.
  • Make sure your article meets the minimum and maximum number of words.
  • Do not double space after periods as you would in other types of writing.
  • Do not include more than two or three sentences in each paragraph. If you do, you are likely to lose the readers' interest.
