An RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a Web feed format used to publish frequently updated pages, such as blogs or news feeds. RSS delivers its information as an XML file called an "RSS feed," "Webfeed," "RSS stream" or "RSS channel."

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to your podcast Web site and log in.

  2. Step 2

Locate the podcast you wish to change. Click on "Edit."

  3. Step 3

When the RSS feed HTML code is displayed, simply make the necessary changes.

  4. Step 4

After you finish editing the feed, resubmit it.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are not familiar with HTML code, there is software that generates the code for you after you have entered the information.
  • Be sure you have entered the code correctly or the feed will not work properly.
  • Make sure that if you are using software to create the feed, it does not strip out tags it feels are redundant. Your feed will not be valid if this happens.
