How to Decide on a Topic for an Article

More and more people are realizing the benefits of submitting articles on the Internet. However, many of these people do not choose good topics for their articles. If article topics are not well chosen, the articles themselves are likely to be of inferior quality.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Consider your personal strengths and weaknesses. If you are a liberal arts person who does not know what the Internet is, do not write an article about Web sites.
Step2
Consider your personal tastes. If you love rock but hate opera, do not write an opera review.
Step3
Consider your passions in life. If you are an avid swimmer but hate mountain climbing, do not write an article about local hiking areas.
Step4
Consider your morals. What lines aren't you willing to cross when writing articles? You need to consider this issue strongly. People will request articles for just about anything.
Step5
Once you have considered the above, narrow your field of interest so that you can write an article that fulfills the requirements of the submission site. If you are writing about apples and the article must be between 500 and 600 words, make sure you have enough to say about apples. However, be sure you can contain your article to 600 words.
