How to Create an MP3 Enclosure for a Podcast

A podcast is a multimedia file distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on mobile devices and personal computers.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to your podcast Web site (unless you have not created the feed yet) and log in.

  2. Step 2

    Go to the podcast you wish to enter the enclosure for. Click on "Edit."

  3. Step 3

    In the HTML code, enter the sub element which should include the URL, length and type.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you are using a RSS 2.0 and designate the file by indicating it is an XML file by inserting xml defining tags at the very beginning .
  • An enclosure may take a long time to download, or something binary that isn't text you read.
