Yahoo Photos is the largest online photo sharing service. It's also the easiest to use with Yahoo 360. Once you open an account, you can manage your digital photos with this blog-style service. Follow these steps to use it to share your Yahoo Photos albums with friends, family, and the public.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A Yahoo 360 account. Sign up at http://360.yahoo.com
  • Digital images with the file extension .jpeg or .jpg
  • A Yahoo account. If you don’t have one already, sign up at www.yahoo.com
  1. Step 1

Click “My Page” at the top of your Yahoo 360 home page.

  2. Step 2

Click “Share Photos” at the top right of the page.

  3. Step 3

Share your photos by changing the privacy settings for your albums. You can make albums public so that anyone can view them, or set them to “friends only.”

  4. Step 4

    Click “Save” when you’re finished.

  5. Step 5

Double-check that you’ve made the right albums public. Choose the “Preview As Seen By” drop-down menu. With this feature, you can view the album as if you were someone on your friends list, or a member of the general public.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you already have a Yahoo Photos account, opening a Yahoo 360 account is very simple. Go to http://360.yahoo.com and sign up. It takes but a couple minutes.
  • You can set individual permissions for each album.
  • As with other Yahoo Photos sharing methods, you cannot share Smart Albums.
  • If you have photos marked “Mature” in any of your Yahoo Photos albums, those photos cannot be seen in Yahoo 360. The rest of the album will be available.
  • Make it easier for Yahoo Photos friends to find you at Yahoo 360 by changing the way your ID is displayed on 360 pages. Click the “Settings” link on your Home page. Scroll down to Yahoo Identity Display to choose how you want your 360 pages to identify you.
  • The photos you upload to Yahoo Photos and Yahoo 360 must have the .jpeg or .jpg file extension. You will receive an error message with any other extension type. Convert any files you want to upload with an image editor.
