-
Step 2
Log in to your account.

Step 3
Click the "My Resumes" tab to reach the "Resume Manager." This tool allows members to create a new resume, edit an existing resume and manage an employment profile, as well as create, edit and upload cover letters. You can also click the "Post Your Resume Now" link from the "Career Tools" section to reach the "My Resumes" tabpage.
-
Step 4
The "Resume Manager" shows two main options: "Upload New Resume" and "Create New Resume." To upload a Word (.doc), text (.txt) or an HTML file, click the "Browse" button associated with the "Upload New Resume" option. Notice that "Upload" at this moment is disabled.
-
Step 5
Select your resume stored on your hard drive.
-
Step 6
Click the "Upload" button, which becomes active after a file is selected. The resulting page shows a preview of your resume, as it will appear to online viewers including employers. Note that its formatting is the same as the uploaded file. The name of the uploaded file becomes the name of the resume. To make changes to it, first edit the file on your computer and upload it again using the "Upload Replacement" link. Use the "Formatting Tips" link to better format the resume.
-
Step 7
Scroll down the page to finalize the resume and click "Continue" after you are satisfied. The site brings you to the "My Employment Profile" page requiring you to give employment related details. Required information fields are marked with an asterisk (*). You must create an employment profile to make the uploaded resume searchable.
-
Step 8
Click the "My Resumes" tab to manage resumes once your resume(s) has been uploaded. The uploaded resume appears here with links to help you edit, email, copy or delete it in addition to showing the date when it was last edited.
-
Step 9
Note the plus (+) icon next to the name of the uploaded resume. Click the icon to view resume related statistics including the number of times an employer viewed it, number of times it came up in a search and number of job opportunities to which you sent it.
